Creative Minds at Work
Applied Learning or Fine Arts strives to provide students with opportunities in engaging activities that will generate interest, spark passion, increase application of skills and knowledge, and facilitate communities that cultivate productive, civically-minded members of society. Applied Learning for elementary students focuses on six areas: Civic Engagement, Music & Performing Arts, Physical Education, STEM & Computer Science, and Visual Arts.

Dear Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) families,
We are excited to share that BCPS is offering students the opportunity to receive a take-home laptop through the One-to-One Laptop Issuance Program. Devices will be distributed at the end of January 2026. This initiative gives students consistent access to digital learning tools at home and school, which supports equity and personalized learning.
To participate, parents or guardians must complete the Device Issuance Opt-In Form in the Focus Parent Portal. No paper forms are required. Following the completion of the opt-in process, schools will begin device distribution at the end of January. Please review laptop care expectations with your child, since families are financially responsible for damage or failure to return the device in its issued condition.
Students who do not opt in will continue to use school-based devices. All devices are tracked in Incident IQ for support and inventory purposes.

Our Before Care program operates from 7:00 am to 7:30 am.
Our Aftercare operates from 2:40 pm to 6:00 pm.
The fee is:
1st child: $214 monthly
2nd child: $203 monthly
Activity fee: $5 monthly
All families must pay a $30 Registration Fee per child when registering for our program.
